Tony E. Jones, R.Ph.
Tony E. Jones, owner of Cornell Prescription Pharmacy, has a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. While in college, Jones was senior class president at the School of Pharmacy, as well as a research assistant, assisting in research comparing the effects a phenolic hydroxyl group has on P450 oxidation of highly lipophilic aromatic compounds.
Jones, a native of Texas, came to Colorado while in the army. After his four-year military stint he attended University of Colorado at Denver before he matriculated from CU- Health Sciences Center in 1995.
Jones is formerly a member of the boards of Rx Plus, a consortium of independent pharmacies, and Cardinal Health, the largest drug wholesale company in the country. He has testified on bills before the Colorado House health committee and has been active in the American Diabetes Association.
His awards and achievements include Colorado’s Innovative Pharmacist of the Year, 2000; Preceptor of the Year, 2000; Colorado Young Pharmacist of the Year, 1999; Pharmacist of the Month, Rx Pharmacies Plus, 1999; Outstanding Pharmacy Student -- Lemmon Corporation 1995; Leadership Award - University of Colorado Health Sciences Center - School of Pharmacy, 1995; Winner of National Award given by AACP for Pharmaceutical Research, 1994.

Valerie Madison, R.Ph.
Valerie Madison, Pharmacy Manager at Cornell Pharmacy, has a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Drake University. Born and raised in rural Iowa, Valerie’s first encounter with the pharmacy profession came in high school when she began working in her hometown pharmacy. She saw how important a role the pharmacy played in her community, and that is where her passion for pharmacy and healthcare began. Her desire to help others’ understand their medication needs continues at Cornell.
Relocating to Denver in 2000, Valerie began her pharmacy career at Captain Centrum Pharmacy, and later would become Pharmacy Manager when the pharmacy changed owners and became Cornell Centrum Pharmacy. At Cornell Prescription Pharmacy, Valerie's passion for pharmacy continues, and has expanded to the fine art of compounding. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, her specialty is women’s health and veterinary compounding.

Oliver Stanford, R.Ph.
Oliver Stanford, Pharmacist at Cornell Pharmacy, was born in Frankfort, Germany. It was a summer job at a Florida pharmacy that sparked Oliver’s interest in the field of pharmacy. Graduating from Valdosta University with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry minor, Oliver matriculated to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Immediately after graduating, Oliver was hired by Kaiser Permanente, where he worked for seven years, gaining experience in several areas of pharmacy including long-term care, drug information, mail-order, oncology, as well as working in their coagulation clinic.
Since joining Cornell Pharmacy in 2002, Oliver's knowledge base has expanded to compounding and hospice care. Currently, Oliver is in the process of receiving certification to administer immunizations.

Ted Keller, R.Ph., DNM
Ted Keller graduated from the University of Colorado in 1969 with a degree in pharmacy. In 2004 Keller received a post graduate diploma in natural medicine from the PanAmerican School of Natural Medicine, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Natural Medicine by the World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners.
A sought out expert in compounding, Keller was published in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding, in the September/October 2000 issue, on the subject of Beta-1,3-D-Glucan for use in immune function and has conducted over eighty seminars on the use of nutrition and natural hormone replacement to regulate menopausal symptoms. He’s spoken at six international seminars of compounding pharmacists on subjects such as the nutrition in humans and animals, compounding for veterinary use and use of diet and supplements to reverse Type 2 Diabetes, detoxification, detoxification diets, drug-induced nutrient depletion, elimination diets and homeopathy. He has also been tapped to speak at the annual conference of the Colorado Association of Naturopathic Physicians on the diagnosis and treatment of insulin resistance and to the National Association of Nutrition Professionals on stress and the endocrine system and Type 2 Diabetes.
Ted holds several patents for natural products and has over 500 clients, whom he counsels on natural alternatives. He owns and operates a cosmetic manufacturing company, Vital Therapy™, which produces only non-toxic, natural active ingredients with no artificial colorings or fragrance, no chemical preservatives, and two homeopathic remedies.

Amy Ziereis, Director of Business Development
Amy Ziereis is Cornell’s newest employee. With a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wyoming, and a MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, Amy brings a valuable mix of science knowledge and business acumen to the pharmacy.
Having worked at Sunrise Senior Living at Cherry Creek as Activities and Volunteer Coordinator, and as Director of Community Relations at Sunrise Senior Living at Pinehurst, she developed programs that meet the special needs of seniors. This experience has equipped Ziereis to assist our senior, assisted living and hospice agency customers in meeting the unique demands of their clientele.
Her Medicare Program Coordinator position at Colorado Access Advantage gave Ziereis knowledge in working with designated providers, identifying potential problems, resolving complex issues, researching inquiries, and working with the appropriate people and departments, externally or internally, to assure appropriate resolution of insurance and coverage issues.
At Cornell Prescription Pharmacy, Ziereis will work closely with our customers to pinpoint their specific needs and create an efficient partnership to insure that their requests are meet with the highest quality of product and service possible.
